Pregnancy is an exciting time but can present unique challenges to women with heart disorders. Heart disorders can either be known about before pregnancy or develop during the pregnancy.
It is important that you discuss with your medical team prior to or early in pregnancy to ensure your disease is under control to reduce the risk of complications occurring due to pregnancy.
