REFERRAL
At your first appointment, your midwife will collect detailed information about your medical history and will contact the maternal medicine team for further input if necessary.
The team will contact you directly and will plan all the required follow-up appointments for the rest of your pregnancy.
You can also refer yourself, by including details of your medical condition on our self-referral form.

CLINICS
The maternal medicine team run multidisciplinary clinics every Tuesday for women with underlying health conditions. These clinics bring together the expertise of an obstetrician, an obstetric physician and a specialist consultant to provide antenatal care and pre-pregnancy counselling.
In addition to the above, the team also runs:
Tuesday All Day: Specialist maternal medicine midwife clinic
Tuesday and alternate Friday AM: Pregnancy hypertension clinic
Friday AM: Hyperemesis clinic
Wednesday AM (2nd): Postnatal clinic
