Pregnancy is an exciting time for many, but for those with a previous or new diagnosis of cancer, pregnancy can be a very stressful time with additional considerations to take into account and our teams are here to able to advise you through these decisions along with your specialist teams.
Please discuss with your specialist teams as soon as possible if you are planning to fall pregnant or fall pregnant whilst being investigated or treated for cancer. It is usually advisable to avoid pregnancy until a possible cancer is fully investigated, treated and in remission prior to embarking on pregnancy however there are many investigations and treatments that can be done during the second and third trimester if appropriate. This will be discussed with you on an individual basis.
