Miss Vinita Singh is a consultant obstetrician at Royal Free Hospital, London. Her area of expertise is medical complexity in pregnancy including diabetes, thyroid disorders, liver conditions, epilepsy and heart conditions. She has worked tirelessly to establish the maternal medicine service at the Royal Free initially rolling out the joint neurology and hepatology clinics. The service has expanded to now include a specialist joint cardiology clinic which rolled out in January 2023. In these clinics she works closely with relevant physicians and the specialist maternal medicine midwife to provide holistic one stop care to high-risk service users.
Miss Singh completed her obstetrics and gynecology training in London, gaining diverse experience across teaching hospitals including St George’s, University College London Hospital, and King’s College Hospital.
Miss Singh is a member of various national and international societies including RCOG, Obstetrics Cardiology Society and International Society of Obstetric Medicine.
She is actively involved in education and training of junior doctors. She has been a college tutor for obstetrics and gynaecology at Royal Free Hospital for five years. She is currently ATSM preceptor for obstetrics medicine for North Central and East London.
