Miss Alison Wright, FRCOG, is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist working at the Royal Free Hospital and specialising in high risk pregnancies. Her clinical interests include childbirth trauma, urogynaecology, pelvic floor dysfunction, and high risk pregnancies. She leads the specialist joint renal clinic under the maternal medicine service at the Royal Free Hospital working with a consultant nephrologist, obstetric physician, and maternal medicine midwife to provide a truly multidisciplinary approach to care.
She is the immediate past Vice-President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and currently leads on personalised care for maternity at NHS England and NHS Improvement. Dr Wright is the UK representative for FIGO (International Federation of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians) safe motherhood.
